These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Descpilot Shopify app ("Service") operated by Descpilot ("we", "us", or "our"). By installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Descpilot is a tool to help you generate AI-powered product descriptions for your Shopify store. You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
Access to the Service is granted via Shopify OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account and for all activity that occurs through your store's connection to Descpilot.
Descpilot offers paid subscription plans billed through Shopify Billing. Charges are applied to your Shopify account. You may cancel your subscription at any time from the app. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
Product descriptions are generated using OpenAI's language models. We do not guarantee the accuracy, originality, or fitness for purpose of any generated content. You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving any content before publishing it to your store.
You retain ownership of your product data. Generated descriptions become your property upon creation. We retain ownership of the Service software, branding, and infrastructure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Descpilot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of revenue or data.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Descpilot operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
